We had TONS of people contact us about lowering and extending the front shelf on the LSG 36"and 42" smokers after we built a set for our personal use. We now manufacture these in mass quantities to keep up with the demand. The shelf placement is good to start with but no where near optimal. Lowering and extending the shelf out some makes the smokers much more versatile. All brackets we make are easy to install just remove the 2 nuts per bracket; swap them out and re-install the nuts. These also come powdercoated to match the finish of the smokers.
 
We offer 3 different options for these brackets.
 
Option #1: The original brackets that work on the smokers with the brackets mounted to the actual smoker body. These brackets lower and move the shelf 2 inches making room to fit larger pans and set seasoning/spritz/drinks on without knocking them off when opening the lid.
 
Option #2: These are for the newer models that started around mid/end of year 2024 where the original brackets were lowered to mount to the legs but were not extended out. This makes an issue of placing full size pans or larger items such as a large cutting board on the shelf without accidental tipping over. Our brackets move this shelf out 2 inches giving that little extra space and ballance for larger items.
 
Option #3: The highly requested cabinet brackets. These brackets both lower the shelf down 3 inches and extend it out 1 inch insuring the best placement possible from what we have found. Since the door swings from the side this add TONS of useability not having to clewr the shelf off every time you open the door.
